Greg Dunlap

Greg started in this business fresh out of Clemson University, more than 30 years ago (1983). Working his way up from project engineer with Batson Cook Company, to Project Manager with Hardin and Associates to owner of PEBL. His first three hotel projects were the first Crowne Plaza’s hotels to open in the 'new' brand. Most recently, he is working on the WorkLife Guestroom concept and Plaza WorkSpace rollout, both for that same Crowne Plaza brand.
Greg has served as the Owner's project manager for the Sandpearl Resort, the first new hotel developed on Clearwater Beach in 25 years. He assisted the owner in all aspects of the development of its $85M facility. Greg has similarly guided professional teams in the development of the $115M InterContinental Hotel Buckhead in Atlanta, GA and the $13M Holiday Inn prototype in Gwinnett County, Georgia.
Over the last 35 years, he has renovated and repositioned more than 18,000 hotel rooms, from simple softgood renovations to complex adaptive reuse projects. He has worked on independent hotels and on numerous franchises including Hyatt, IHG, Starwood, Radisson, Hilton, Occidental, Wyndham, Marriott, Omni and Red Lion. In addition, he has worked with individual customers including Raskin Holdings, Payne Webber, JMC Communities, Malaysia United Industries, Cornerstone Real Estate Advisors, Felcor, Apple REIT, HCV Partners, Strategic Hotels, Hospitality Properties Trust, Stone Mountain Authority and G. Lars Gullstedt.

Susan Dean
Founder - passed away on December 26, 2018
In her capacity as PEBL’s business manager and Vice President, Susan handled all financial and accounting functions, including managing third party bank accounts as well as served as our lead purchasing agent.
Roy Turner, PMP
Senior Project Manager
Roy joined the
PEBL team in 2011. After starting his career at PEBL as an Assistant Project Manager, Roy quickly built a reputation for excellence, earning him promotions up to Sr. Project
Manager.
Roy has over 13 years of experience in the architecture and construction industry and earned and
maintains his Project Management Professional (PMP) certification since 2010. Roy is an invaluable member of every project team and has a reputation for quality results and for building lasting
relationships with owners, contractors, suppliers, and project support staff.
Since joining PEBL, Roy has been involved in multiple renovation projects, including lobby
renovations for the Holiday Inn Gwinnett Center, Holiday Inn Clark New Jersey, and the Holiday Inn and Suites Airport North, Hyatt Regency Wichita, and various Crowne Plazas across the county. Full
hotel renovations of the guest tower and all public space include the Holiday Inn Riverwalk San Antonio, Holiday Inn Nashville, and Crowne Plaza Ventura Beach.
Originally from McDonough, Georgia, Roy has made his way to Ball Ground, Georgia to enjoy the
low stress of a small town and fresh mountain air from the north. Roy is also a devoted husband and father of two beautiful daughters and spends time off with his
family.
Julie Vittum
Assistant Purchasing Agent
Julie joined PEBL in September of 2018 as an administrative assistant after 17 years of raising children. She brings excellent large project organizational skills, as prior to joining PEBL she spent her summers as the food coordinator, including budgeting, planning, purchasing, and preparing all meals for large missions teams.
Raised in Vail, Colorado, Julie spent her youth actively engaged in the tourism and hospitality industry, with both parents managing boutique hotels. She herself entered the industry in 1997 and has continued part time since then.
In her free time, Julie is taking online college classes working toward a business management degree, enjoys managing her bee hives, hiking, kayaking, camping, and pretty much anything outdoors.
